M.I. Story in Les Mains Du Seigneur
"I am a little pencil in the hand of a writing God who is sending a love letter to the world." ~Mother Teresa
I joined LMDS in 2008. LMDS DAY ONE, I was very worried and asked myself many questions:
"Do you have the talent of teaching children? " the answer was: I don't know."This is a huge responsibility because you’re gonna put information and educate behaviors for a human being will last forever with him or her" the answer was: “I know well.”
I went with my friend, met the responsible then and we knew the system ,etc… And by the end of the day I could say honestly, the integration was effortless with the kids and the ambiance with the team was tremendous. But the best part is you will discover that every single word you said for kids makes difference in their life's concept.
The issue is not how you teach or how you prepare a perfect grammar lesson, NO, it's profoundly more than that, it’s about how you spread love and to be a good giver for these kids by: honesty, wisdom and patience. At the same time, you learn lessons as well, (it's like a "Mutual relationship" & I prefer that you discover it by yourself ;)
By time, trust liberates. Strong bonds between us formed or you can call "GOOD CHEMESTRY!" too and voila, now we are one big happy family. LMDS gives me the opportunity to be taught and to live new experience where I reach these observations: People give to charity as a way to satisfy their deeply held need to find meaning in life. Find a need and file it and you don't have to be rich and famous to make a contribution that can make a difference. Consequently, we can all do something amazing for our community by our wills to charity.
